Ric Reardon

Board Memeber

Ric served previously as the Executive Director of the Vermont State University Center for Schools, a professional development center that offers workshops, institutes, teacher training, and over 350 graduate level courses each year for Vermont’s teachers, administrators, and support staff. He also served as the Director of Education for Castleton University for 12 years supporting the teacher preparation program. He also contributed to the field of education as a special education teacher, a district inclusion coordinator, an assistant professor of special education, and a Director of Special Education for a local VT supervisory union. He is now consulting in multiple states on topics such as special education best practice, leadership, collaborative teaming, and systems change. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary and special education as well as a Master of Science degree and a Ph.D. with concentrations in special education and leadership. Although he delights in visiting his home state of Vermont when he can, he and his wife live in Broomfield, Colorado and have two grown children living and working in San Diego, CA and Denver, CO.
