About the Programs
Established in 2004, the VT-HEC Early Childhood (EC) programs are graduate course sequences that prepare candidates to fulfill the requirements for the Vermont Early Childhood Educator (ECE) and Early Childhood Special Educator (ECSE) endorsements. VT-HEC is approved to recommend our candidates, upon successful completion of our programs, to the Agency of Education (AOE) for an initial license or additional endorsement. The programs are flexible and designed to accommodate professionals working in schools and early education settings.

A nonprofit in operation for 25 years, VT-HEC values its relentless commitment to high quality instruction and professional learning for aspiring and experienced educators.
