Nick Conner

Nick Conner is an education leader and youth development specialist based in Montpelier, Vermont. He has over 15 years of experience working in nonprofit and education leadership roles and specializes in program development and data focused on student engagement, youth experiencing homelessness and supporting youth in the juvenile justice system.

Nick serves as a Senior Fellow with Attendance Works, where he contributes to national policy initiatives and provides professional development on chronic absenteeism to districts and organizations nationwide. Concurrently, he is the Director of Student Engagement and Data for Montpelier Roxbury Public Schools (MRPS). In this dual role, Nick spearheads the district’s student engagement efforts, specifically supporting students and families impacted by chronic absenteeism, and oversees the district’s data strategy. As a member of the MRPS leadership team, he also focuses on developing policies and conducting research that foster strong school-community connections.
