Michelle Houghton

Michelle Houghton has a Master of Fine Art in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Art. She is a Certified Literacy Specialist with an associate level certification in the Orton Gillingham approach. She has been a middle and high school English teacher, and a k-5 literacy instructor. When she is not teaching, you can find Michelle writing stories or riding her horse through the Vermont forests. Michelle lives on a small horse farm in Ferrisburgh, Vermont with her two sons.
