Julia Lau

Julia Lau is the Hartford School District’s Equity Coordinator. She began her education journey 25 years ago as a middle school math teacher in Massachusetts, transitioning to math coaching when she moved to Vermont, and is now combining her passion for education and social justice in Hartford. As the Equity Coordinator, Julia is responsible for coordinating district-wide equity efforts and helping to create schools and spaces that ensure that our most marginalized students and staff are seen, supported, and celebrated.
