Heather Vonada
Instructor
Heather Vonada has been teaching mathematics at Woodstock Union High School in Woodstock, VT since 2005. She earned her Bachelors in Mathematics from St. Michael’s College and her Masters in Administration from the University of Scranton. In 2021, Heather earned her National Board Certification and now teaches a course to help other teachers earn this certification. Heather was the recipient of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching and the Travelers Award for Excellence in Teaching. Heather is passionate about her students’ mathematical thinking and how to make math more engaging. Outside of school, Heather enjoys traveling the world with her husband and two children. She also loves to hike with their family dog and spend time doing CrossFit with her friends.
