Ground Level MTSS Team Collaboration: Planning for the Future
Jennifer Patenaude, M.A.
Given the impact of the pandemic, and the requirements set forth by special education rule changes focused upon evidence-based general education practices, the need for an effective, well functioning multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) has never been more essential. This intensive two-day workshop is designed to offer school-based teams the opportunity to reflect upon and celebrate areas of growth, as well as strategically plan critical next steps for the coming year.
Teams will be offered the opportunity to better understand, self-assess, and plan for systemic change within the following areas:
- Layered interventions for social and emotional learning and academics
- Universal screening, diagnostic assessment, and progress monitoring
- Effective collaboration for intentional decision-making
- Scheduling and instructional delivery considerations
- Data management and analysis
- Fidelity of MTSS implementation
- Family engagement
