The VT-HEC Early Childhood Special Educator (ECSE) Endorsement Program is a 21-credit sequence of coursework and practical experience designed to prepare participants to add an Early Childhood Special Educator Endorsement to their current license.
f you DO NOT have a VT educator license
The VT-HEC Early Childhood Special Educator (ECSE) Initial Licensure Program is a 21-credit sequence of coursework, field experiences (including student teaching), and a year-long seminar series designed to prepare participants to obtain their initial license as an Early Childhood Special Educator.
The Patty Morgan Scholarship will be awarded annually to an exceptional educator seeking an initial early childhood special educator (ECSE) license or seeking to add the ECSE endorsement to a current Vermont license. The Patty Morgan Scholarship will cover the selected candidate’s VT-HEC tuition costs not covered by other funding sources throughout the candidate’s program.
