Welcoming Our New Health Program Coordinator

With gratitude to Susan Yesalonia for her years of service

We’re delighted to announce that Kathy Gray has joined VT-HEC as our new Health Program Coordinator.

Kathy spent more than a decade as a Health Sciences instructor at North Country Career Center, where she taught concurrent college courses, developed curriculum, supervised clinical learning experiences, and helped advise and expand the STEM Academy. She also holds an Online Teaching Specialist Endorsement and teaches online Health and Veterinary Science courses for the Vermont Virtual Learning Cooperative. A graduate of Boston College and Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine, Kathy practiced veterinary medicine for 26 years before transitioning into education — bringing a rare combination of clinical depth and classroom experience to the role.

We’re excited to welcome Kathy to VT-HEC and look forward to the impact she’ll make in growing and strengthening our Health Education program.

We also want to say a heartfelt thank you to Susan Yesalonia, as she heads into retirement. In her time with us, Susan has demonstrated strong dedication to Vermont’s health educators. We’re grateful for everything she brought to VT-HEC, and we wish her all the best in this well-earned next chapter.
