Kelly Cray, M.Ed.
Instructor
Kelly Cray is an educator, researcher, and advocate whose work centers on multilingual education and neurodiversity and disability in schools. Her career has taken her from teaching and curriculum development in South Korea to elementary education in Arizona, the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Alabama, and now Vermont.
Kelly teaches high school English Language Development and serves as a language and cultural specialist at Burr and Burton Academy. She is President of Northern New England TESOL and Editor of TESOL’s Difference and Disability Matters Newsletter. Her work in multilingual education focuses on access, belonging, culturally responsive practice, and creating rigorous learning environments where multilingual students can thrive.
Kelly is also an instructor and advisory board member for VT-HEC’s Neurodiversity and Inclusion program and founder of The Autist Educator. Her work in neurodiversity challenges deficit-based approaches to disability and advocates for educational spaces that value different ways of learning, communicating, and being.
