Abigayle Smith

Abby grew up in the Mid-Hudson Valley of NY. She stumbled upon her passion for teaching at the age of 14, when she became an assistant instructor at a TaeKwonDo school. She went on to become a Special Educator for ten years, and also completed her M.S.T. through the Vermont Mathematics Initiative. When an opportunity to be a building leader arose, she became the Assistant Principal for Echo Valley Schools and enrolled in the Upper Valley Educators Institute to pursue a Principal’s license. She is currently the Assistant Principal at Williamstown Middle/High School. She lives with her partner and grumpy little dog in Central Vermont and is learning how to play guitar.
