Mission Investment Fund
VT-HEC makes every effort to keep participant costs as low as possible, while still meeting our operational expenses. The VT-HEC Board has established the Mission Investment Fund (MIF) to provide scholarships to students who have minimal or no financial support for professional development from their employer.

Grants
VT-HEC encourages individuals registering for a credit bearing course, or entering a licensure or endorsement program to apply for tuition grants from other sources.
VSAC Advancement Grants
from the Vermont Student Assistance Corporation.
Advancement Grants are awarded based on financial need to Vermont residents enrolled in non-degree courses or programs.
TEACH Grant
for Early Childhood Educators and Early Childhood Special Educators pursuing licensing.
TEACH grants are for family child care providers, center teachers, and directors with a BA.
For Early childhood educators
Patty Morgan Scholarship
As professional learning funds are limited for early educators, many of whom work in private settings, this scholarship is awarded annually to an exceptional educator seeking either an initial license or endorsement as an Early Childhood Educator or Early Childhood Special Educator.
The Patty Morgan Scholarship covers the selected candidate’s VT-HEC tuition costs not covered by other funding sources.
