What  Works to Improve Middle & High Schools

Managing school improvement given the complexities that exist in operating schools today has presented many daunting challenges.  That is especially true in middle and high schools.  VT-HEC’s program, Teaching All Secondary Schools (TASS), has been working in VT schools since 2005 developing a unique program  based on education neuroscience and the best research-proven strategies from education, leadership and systems change to support schools in their efforts to improve outcomes for all students in a standards-based learning context. TASS provides each school a coordinated array of sustained, comprehensive and integrated professional development, coaching and supports that are tailored to the current needs and long-term goals of each school.

On Tuesday, February 18, from 4-6 at the Capitol Plaza in Montpelier we have a special opportunity to hear from leaders and teachers from TASS schools along with program consultants Val Gardner, Bill Rich and Otho Thompson regarding what they have learned about school improvement in Vermont schools.

Please RSVP at 802-498-3350
