Kara McDonough
Instructor
Kara has served as an Early Childhood Special Educator with the South Burlington School District for over 20 years. Over the course of that career, she has been in multiple roles, including Birth to Three service provider, classroom-based early childhood special educator, and currently, Preschool Outreach Early Childhood Special Educator for the district. In addition, she provides professional development, training, and coaching to local preschools and child care centers through a consulting business.
Kara lives in Essex Junction with her husband and teenage daughter. Their older daughter attends St. John’s College in Maryland. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time with our Beagle-Basset Hound, Daisy.
