Julie Burtscher Brown

Julie Burtscher Brown, MSEd, is the PreK-12 Literacy Facilitator for Mountain Views Supervisory Union in Woodstock, VT. She has also served her district as a special educator and Multilingual Learner Coordinator. Julie was the founding teacher of Woodstock Union Middle and High School’s Structured Literacy Program. She holds three Vermont teaching endorsements: PreK-12 Reading Specialist, Special Educator, and Multilingual Learner Teacher. Julie is currently a doctoral candidate at Mount St. Joseph University with research interests in MTSS and adolescent literacy.
