Emmaly Perks, M.Ed.

Emmaly Perks, M.Ed., is a gifted education consultant, former K-12 teacher, and leader in gifted education, gifted human development, and the neuroscience of giftedness. She has taught, championed, and supported gifted, high-ability, and neurodivergent individuals for more than 15 years, from research labs to K-12 classrooms, to universities, non-profit, and corporate settings. 

She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of New Mexico and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from the University of Denver with a specialization in gifted education. She is the founder of Beyond Gifted Services, an education and career consultancy which helps gifted, twice-exceptional (2e), and neurodivergent people find their best fit—from school through career and beyond. Emmaly is a community group facilitator with Supporting Emotional Needs of the Gifted (SENG), serves on the Mensa Foundation’s Network Steering Committee, has authored multiple books and publications on giftedness, trains teachers in best practices for gifted and 2e learners, and is a thought leader and regular presenter at national conferences.
