Participants learn the importance of clear communication, active listening, and intentional preparation and organization to ensure a smooth, productive outcome aligned with the meeting’s purpose. Participants also gain access to strategies, tools, and techniques that support effective facilitation. 

Jen Patenaude, MA has worked for North Country Supervisory Union for more than twenty years as a special educator, evaluation specialist, and instructional specialist. She is also an instructor, presenter, internship supervisor, and member of the VT-HEC SPED Advisory Council. Jen leads professional development on a multitude of topics for both general education and special education teachers and has served as adjunct faculty for the Vermont State Colleges.
