Neurodiversity and Inclusion: Reframing How We Support Our Neurodivergent Learners

This recorded workshop is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge necessary to start considering how to provide inclusive services to all learners from a neurodiversity paradigm framework.
Participants will:
- Identify and define neurodiversity, the neurodiversity paradigm, and the neurodiversity movement.
- Identify common differences observed in neurodivergent learners, most specifically in the areas of socialization, communication, play, and sensory differences.
- Identify and describe strategies to reframe goal writing for neurodivergent learners to maximize independence and quality of life.
- Identify and describe applicable ways to initiate small changes in your classroom, school, or district to begin celebrating neurodiversity.
