Description
Equipping Students with Executive Function Skills during Remote Learning
with Danielle Kent, MS, CCC-SLP
Remote learning requires students to be more independent in planning, organizing, and attending to schedules and presented information. When these skills are not understood, targeted, and/or supported, students can struggle to maintain pace and may become withdrawn, overwhelmed, or disinterested in learning. When educators directly integrate these executive functioning skills throughout academic instruction, it helps students manage their remote learning experience. This workshop will equip professionals to better understand and teach these executive functioning skill sets to increase the success of their students.
