With gratitude to Kim McKellar for her years of service
We are delighted to announce three new additions to the VT-HEC team, each bringing deep expertise and a strong commitment to supporting Vermont’s educators and students.
Kara Griswold joins us as Assistant Director of the Special Education Program. Prior to her work at VT-HEC, Kara was a Director of Student Services in Addison County. She began her career as a middle and high school special educator, and maintains multiple Vermont educator and administrator licenses.
Bradley Beth will serve as Coordinator of our new Mathematics & Science Program. Bradley is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Vermont State University, where he teaches courses in the Computer Information Systems and Data Science programs.
Pam Hemingway joins as Coordinator of the Work-Based Learning Program. In her current role as Career Development Coordinator at Essex High School, Pam has led the development of internship curriculum, built strong business partnerships, supported classroom teachers, and organized school-wide career activities.
We’re excited to welcome Kara, Bradley, and Pam to VT-HEC and look forward to the impact they’ll make in growing and strengthening our professional learning programs.
We also want to acknowledge Kim McKellar, who has served VT-HEC in a variety of roles and capacities since its inception. Kim’s dedication and leadership helped establish and grow the WBLC Program into the strong offering it is today. We are deeply grateful for Kim’s many years with us, and wish her the very best in her next chapter.
