Workshop #2: Functional Goals and Planning               

All young children need to develop the skills required for them to function and succeed at home and/or in an early care and education setting. For some children, developing these functional skills requires adults’ thoughtful planning of intentional teaching and individualized learning opportunities. This workshop delves into identifying the child’s functional goals and planning ways to support the child meeting those goals.
